The permanent makeup industry has come so far since its genesis in 1902 (yes, shockingly PMU has been around for over a century!) With its cutting edge techniques, PMU has evolved and refined itself, & with it we're able to create very subtle, hyperrealistic, ultra natural results, that are long lasting, safe, and absolutely gorgeous! Needless to say the techniques have advanced a lot since PMUs rise in popularity in the 30's, and its definitely improved from what you remember of it in the 90s & early 2000s!
My name is Rosalia Vagalatis, I'm a certified permanent makeup artist & founder of Adorned Beauty, Located in Toronto ON. I've been tattooing the last couple years at sister company @getstabbed_tattoos ! As a life long artist, dabbling & practicing in many mediums, when I began casually tattooing friends 4.5 years back, I quickly became obsessed - and pretty instantly I felt a calling to this art form. Thus began my studying, practicing & perfecting - from casual to professional.
Discovering semi-permanent makeup tattooing has been a collision of my many passions; Makeup & Aesthetics, Drawing, Painting & Portraits, - But most importantly my passion for people - it's an honour, the trust given, to tattoo a human being, to make women feel effortlessly beautiful by enhancing & restoring their already beautiful nature.
That brings me to my mission statement: Adorned Beauty is about just that - Adorning your beauty; We believe in enhancing your beauty without ever compromising your uniqueness! This means never giving you a 'copy paste' look, you won't find stencil-styles or 'one size fits all' mentalities here. We're all about natural, buildable results, & we are more than happy to take the necessary time, care & attention to achieve those results!
